At this particular exhibition, I drew lines inside the gallery space - on the windows, on the floor, glass, and outside the gallery - pavement, road, tree across the street.
Where does the artwork belong to?
What is dirt?
New thoughts:
2024
Years later I would say that dirt is dirty. I still see it as a beautiful force. But dirt is also dangerous, it is way more than I have thought of it before. I don’t believe that at the time I understood or saw a lot of dirt. I constantly search for dirt, I see it with way more responsibility and respect. Dirt is dirty. Dirt is sublime. I dug deep and devoured it swallowing it. I got closer. It made me fear everything around me. I understood it.
